Inspiration

My single greatest inspiration has always been Mother Nature herself. Whether swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, or riding camels in the middle of the hot dessert with the Pyramids as my backdrop, or waking up to palm trees in the tropics, nothing can possibly compare to the seduction of one’s senses through color, scents, texture and imagery.

There is no greater feeling of serenity and awe than to be engulfed in all Her raw beauty and natural imperfections. When exploring quarries all over the world, I’m enamored by these larger than life rough and uneven blocks, that once extracted, become the most beautiful, precious stones that adorn your floors, walls and countertops.  This process highlights how inextricably linked Man is with Mother Nature, and how the greatest beauty is always realized when there is a mutual love and respect between us.
